TDITD - Phil Ogison, 5 previously unreleased albums on I Tunes

Here's a screenshot of some of the previously unheard tracks by me, pre - TDITD days on Apple I Tunes.
Downloading I Tunes is easy (available for PC and Mac) once installed, you can go to the Music Store, type in my name in the search field, hit enter, and there you go...you can listen to material that dates as far back as 2002. If you like any of it, you could even purchase it for a mere .99c per tune! Not bad eh?
Anyway, over the course of the next few months I will be adding some TDITD material for download on I Tunes and various other music download providers. Happy downloading!

The Premiere performance of 'VESSEL'

Hi to all who came out to the Premiere performance of 'VESSEL' on March 28th, 2006. It was gratifying to see so many people in the audience. The evening opened with a reading by Catherine Tammaro describing the intellectual facets of VESSEL, and a dedication to Leigh Schiller, a recently deceased friend and long time supporter of the arts. I opened the show with the first of 3 examples of machine music, and Steve, Dan and Drake, Menno Krant's models for the evening came up on stage for final touch-ups and to contribute their inspiring performances and choreography. The last two musical selections were atmospheric meanderings combining delayed electric guitar and very slowly sequenced synth pads, blended and warped in unison. Menno continued to paint, on paper and CD jewel cases, which will of course be used to house the music on CD.
The second part of the show opened with Lynn Harrigan reading from her new poetry project, with accompaniment by dreamSTATE & The Devil In The Design...after she left the stage, Jamie Todd, Scott M2 and Phil Ogison continued with a tour into the realms of 'Berlin School' sequencing and soaring guitars, a tribute to '70s synth fantasias.
Hopefully, there will be some photos up here soon,
but that's all for now!
Cheers,

The Devil Is In.....

The Devil In The Design is now inhabiting this blogspot. There will be more posts, hopefully daily. The first news is that I will be performing with Menno Krant, painter at The AMBiENT PiNG Tuesday March 28th 9:30pm in Toronto. The address is 794 Bathurst St, @ Hacienda (Upstairs).
For the second set of the evening I will be performing with dreamSTATE and poet Lynn Harrigan.
